Green Funeral Home has been providing funeral, cremation, and monument services to the Rainy River District since 1923. Our success can be attributed to our long-term and established staff members who deliver a high level of service to our families. With combined years of service totaling 98 years, our staff operates both effectively and efficiently while exceeding the needs of our families throughout the district. Green Funeral Home, located at 600 Reid Avenue, just one block east of the Memorial Sports Centre in Fort Frances has been serving families of the Rainy River District for over 86 years. Established by R.V. "Rusty" Green in 1923, the funeral home has been located at several areas within Fort Frances. In 1961 we completed construction of the existing Green Funeral Home. Over the years, our service has expanded to Atikokan with the addition of Wright Funeral Home in 1986 and to Rainy River with the addition of Rainy River Funeral Home in 1995. We proudly serve an area which expands to over 14,000 square miles.
